FMF Racing Apex Ti/Carbon Exhaust

FMF Apex Ti/Carbon ExhaustWow - more and more exhausts are showing up every day. It’s sorta hard to keep up with all of them, but It looks like most of major players have stepped up to the plate and released something for the ol’ Ninja 250R.

Today’s offering comes from FMF Racing in the form of their Apex Ti Carbon Exhaust. Which is a good looking exhaust. It aesthetically competes with the Yosh, and performance wise… Don’t know yet as the details are a bit lacking. However, traditionally the FMF exhausts I have heard sound rad — so hopefully we can expect the same here..

Details:

- Aerospace quality Carbon Fiber can and Titanium endcap
- Incredible sound.
- Most advanced slip-on on the market.
- Hand crafted in the USA.

Manufacture: FMF Racing
Price: ~$425.00
Purchase: Here

Note: Do we have to pay extra for the “Hand creafted .. Areospace quality Carbon Fiber..” ;)

Thanks for the Tip Bryan!

Ninja 250R K-Factory Exhaust Sound Clip

Last week, I posted about some of the goodies from Japan from K-Factory. Their slip-on exhaust was received with mixed reviews on it’s blued titanium look.. But now we have some sound clippage to go with the look…

Personally, I don’t think it sounds unique enough to stop everything and run out and buy it. But then again, I guarantee you’ll be the only cat in town with one of these guys on your Ninja 250 if you were able to pick one up..

Opinions? Thought?

D&D Exhaust for the Ninja 250R

Ninja 250R with D&D EhaustD&D Released two new Slip-On Exhaust for the Ninja 250R this week. (And Reading about it reminded me that it’s been a while since we have had any Exhaust news on here.)

This pipe is actually a really nice looking piece, and the power numbers seem to be in line with most other slip on’s on the market. But - Power Aside for a second — This black version of this pipe would look absolutely rad on a black or a blue bike. So, if you’re looking for just an aesthetic upgrade from the ol’ Chromepon (You’ll get that joke later) that come stock, the D&D might be one of the best places to look. (Especially If you don’t want to dish out the money for the Yosh)

This slip on does not require to have the bike Jetted (but trust me — jetting helps) — And Without Jets the D&D will give smooth out your power band and keep power building well past the 10k drop off in stock form. Peaking out at 26Hp / 13lbft it’s a decent 2Hp increase and 2ftlb of torque increase. (And on this bike, That’s a 10% increase in power…)

Details:
539-11A Ninja 250 08 Alum $489 s/o 3×12 Muff /w pipe
539-11B Ninja 250 08 Black $489 s/o Heat shield
