No Cut Fender Eliminator

No Cut fender eliminator | Ninja 250rMany of us have been waiting for an Integrated taillight kit, or a no cut fender eliminator for a while now. Bikelitez.com just releases a new kit that is a true no-cut kit (With license plate light) that gives the deep mount look that a lot of sport riders like, all while getting rid of the banana hammock rear fender in the process.

Overall, I didn’t think I’d like the tucked look on the 250R.. But It won me over. Just make sure you check your Local laws first. I know some have strict license plate visibility laws. Other wise, if I hadn’t already chopped my fender — I’d probably fork up the cash for this one…

Keep in mind, the nice part of no cut kits, is that if you ever sell the bike, or state/local laws change, you can go right back to stock without worrying about random holes cut in your bike. (No amount of super glue and bondo would ever fix some of these fender chops! ;) )

Price: ~150$

“No Cut” Brake Modulator

Rear-Alert | No Cut Brake modulator | Ninja 250RA while back we talked about the BackOff brake Modulator/Flasher but it does require a few wires to be cut for installation. Some crafty 2Fiddy’r has come out with a much less expensive option, that is also ‘No Cut’ installation.. (Can we say WIn-Win) Meaning it’s “Plug and Play”… So You can put away your soldering irons, butt plugs, and electrical tape and run right out and flash your neighbors.. (Whoa.. That can be taken a few different ways…) This no cut model is based off the Rear-Alert module, and installation should take no more than “2 minutes”..

So for those of you asking, ‘What exactly is a Brake Modulator, and why do I want one?” — Well it’s simple:

When your front or back brakes are applied, the modulator pulses your brake lamp for about 4 seconds. The lamp then stays on solid until you release the brakes. Re-applying the brakes causes the unit to pules the brake light an additional 4~5 seconds. Generally you get 7 or 8 pulses before the lamp stays on solid. Also, cutting the green wire doubles the flash time should you want your brake light to flash longer.

Remember, Visibility is key when it comes to safety when on a bike.
