Simple Front Reflector Mod
You still sporting the ‘Tie Fighter’ front fender with those big ol’ hubcap reflectors on it? Well, if you do lots of night riding it might be a good idea to keep it — Visibility is king… But if you’re looking for a way to tone it down a little, here is a neat trick to help clean up the look.
Next time you’re at your local bike shop, pick up two license plate reflectors. I picked up two from CycleGear for $.99/ea. (if you’re bike shop doesn’t have them, eBay has got you covered)
The threads on them match the stock threads perfectly. And, if you cut down the back screw a little, They will sit flush to the body work. No More ‘Tie Fighter’ look from the reflectors!! Woo-Hoo!
