Ninja 250R Rearsets, Brake Pedal, Shifter

Ninja 250R Rearsets | WoodcraftSo far rearsets have only been available from overseas, and a few lucky folks (ie. Beast) have managed to finagle them into the US to bolt onto their lil Ninjas. However, it looks like Woodcraft has managed to get some to the US domestic market now for the latest gen Ninjas (2008 and 2009).

Full Kit Details:

The basic rearset kit consists of the rearset plates, footpegs and all of the needed hardware (shift rods, etc) to install the kit properly. These kits assume that you currently have the OEM rearsets on your bike, and also utilize the new CFM 3 piece billet shift and brake pedals.

They are made from tough, aircraft grade 6061 T6 Aluminum. They are much stronger than OEM brackets and will give your bike a look that will separate you from the crowd. Each kit is individually designed for your model of motorcycle to give you the optimum foot position and ground clearance for racing. Most kits are upgradeable at any time to accept the 3 piece billet shift and brake pedals.

Moves pegs up 1″ and back 2″

In addition to the full rearset kit, a basic kit (no pedals) and each individual part is available for purchase. So if you just want a shifter or a brake upgrade.. They are available as well. Or if you strapped for cash, upgrade over time..

Full Kit: $339.99 (Black / Silver)
Kit Minus Shifter / Brake pedal: $209.99 (Black / Silver)

Dats What im talking about! ive scraped my left feet to many times on turns. With them i could leave my feet under the shifter on left turns!

I’ve scraped a few times now. But I consider it to be related to me being kind of a tall rider for the 250. Will these make thing less cramped for a tall rider? Yeah, I know the more sport-like position isn’t designed for comfort, but if it’s better for tall riders, I’m interested.

What exactly are u scraping? your knees? and yeah if so . these wont prevent u from that . i would say your best bet would to go buy some knee pads . and them pegs would make u feel like your riding a smaller bike .

I’m 6′1″ and I was saying that my left foot scrapes like yours. I rarely keep my right foot anywhere near the brake for similar comfort reasons, so I don’t know why it never scrapes.

Strangely, I can’t find riding pants that have knee armor that will line up with my knees; even the highest position of pants with adjustable armor.

If a rearset can give me more room by angling my legs, I’m all for it.

FWIW, the bike is still comfortable to commute on for my size, though the 600mi ride from the dealer on the default suspension (1) was rough (my weight demands at least 3 or 4)!

I’m in the same boat as you! At 6′1″ the bike is boarderline too small as it is and I would love to get this kit but I think it just get me all cramped up and uncomfortable! Anyone have any positive comments about the possibility of rearsets for us 250 fitmently challenged????
