LeoVince slipon and full exhaust

leovince ninja 250r exhaust

Another week, anther set of exhausts… However, this week they come from the quite reputable LeoVince.. In fact, I know quite a few people who have been waiting for these to come out, so they should be nice and happy!

This exhaust comes in two forms, a full exhaust, and also a slip on. Both are only available in Aluminum. One very nice feature is that they come with a silencer insert, so this would be a good road/track exhaust for people who wanna try to keep it a lil quiet when they are zipping aorund the neighborhood.

Overall, nice pipe. Perhaps a tad on the pricey side, but it’s a LeoVince — so you know it’ll be a quality piece. The site also only lists this as fitting 2008, but as we all know, it’ll work on the 2009’s too..

LeoVince Slip-On (Includes Optional Quiet Insert)
Part#: 8110
$449.00

LeoVince full system (Includes Optional Quiet Insert)
Part#: 8111
$699.00

Have not seen the Jardine can mentioned here. Got on of their first ones back in June. What I really like is its super clean looking Tig welded mounting tab (no big band/strap like most others) and removable restrictor cone at the tail end…and the sound…too sweet!

The Jardine can was mentioned back on April 10 but I have not seen too many people make comments about them? I am interested in the Jardine can myself. The price is awesome and the looks are clean!!! The mounting tab looks way better than most of the other exhausts out there!!!

Also, forgot to note the Jardine was only $299.00 delivered! ordered through pipecity.com (they are awesome to deal with!)

This pipe is VERY free flowing with the restrictor cone removed (I’m guessing they intentionally built it this way for the loud/perf crowd to remove…myself included…maybe needed to pass sound/emission levels?) with it removed you can easily roll a golf ball down the silencer core. the ONLY thing I don’t like is the big ass RT5 graphic. would rather have clean bare can. might try removing sticker. This can is made in USA and craftsmanship is excellent!

Thanks for the info! Does this exhaust require a jet kit or any other mods?

I have not done the Jet kit yet (plan to) I would recommend it for this pipe (esp. with said cone piece removed) as it magnifies the low RPM hesitation/stumbles this bike has stock. Above 7k it smooths out and feels like the carbs catch up a little. The sound at 9-11k is just awesome!. A K&N intake is also on my wish list…

I’ve got a titanium/carbon leo full system on my gsxr600 and the fit and finish is excellent. This will definitly be the exhaust I go with when I get my 250
