Ninja 250R Scorpion Exhaust
Another day, and another new exhaust for the Ninja 250R. This exhaust comes from Scorpion Exhausts (Who pretty much make exhausts to fix anything on wheels from bikes, cars, atv’s and even scooters)
This particular exhaust for the Ninja 250R doesn’t really stand out from the crowd looks wise, but it does have a great little sound to it. (See Video on the second page) In addition, Scorpion products tend to be pretty easy to come by, and easy to get good deals on — So I see this exhaust as becoming more and more popular over time. In addition, this exhaust was designed based off of stock fueling. So, no jet kit or mods are needed to support this guy, which makes this exhaust a great option for people just looking for a lil more sound and scoot..
Available in three finishes Stainless, Titanium, and Titanium Flame. Details and where to buy can be found here.
[Thanks for the tip NH!]

I hate how slip ons have that drastic joint look where the exhaust can connects to the header pipes. No matter what you do there’s always that color change and the big clamp and bolt. Why don’t more manufactures use the springs? I’d have to weld on some fittings to connect the stock chrome looking plate that goes with the original system like Yoshimura uses. That looks way cooler! Most slip ons systems look like they were stuck on and left hanging there. These pipes otherwise are pretty cool but it depends on price as I did not see that anywhere.

Alright…..I must confess….if your looking for this slip-on you want to look for the following:
Scorpion Polished Stainless Steel Exhaust System. Fits 2004 RMZ KXF 250cc . This Stainless Exhaust System Delivers up to 10% Horsepower Increase with a Broad, Rideable Torque Curve. Packing material is a single, continuous strand of stainless steel wool that never needs replacement! All Mounting Hardware is included . Part # DSS154SSO . $376.97 Retail .
Yeah…that’s right a 2004 kxf 250 motocross bike. I picked this up new in the box on ebay for 150 bucks. I just cut the connector pipe, installed a Emgo adapter …here’s the link http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_catalog/Product.jsp;jsessionid=CXI4FCVTYWBI5LA0WTKSM4VMDK0NCIV0?store=Main&skuId=449976
and with picked up a new clamp.
For 150 bucks …I think it sounds pretty good.
