Hotbodies Windscreens
Hotbodies Racing now makes a replacement windscreen for our beloved Ninja 250’s… Running about $20 cheaper than the Puig screens, the Hotbodies screens come in a few less options (Only 4 colors and 2 Styles) — But for the most part they will cover 90% of our wants and needs.
These screens are made out of impact and scratch resistant acrylic, and the vacuum formed and then CNC machined to perfection. (And anything CNC is rad in my book… Music factories included) The two styles available are “SuperSport”, which is pretty much a stock replacement, and Grandprix, which is 1″ taller and has a dual radius design to it. The Grandprix is available in green, blue, smoke and clear where the Supersport is only available in clear and smoke.
Over all looks like a nice piece. I’m thinking I might pick up a Grandprix in smoke — seems to be exactly what I’m looking for.
Manufacture: Hotbodies Racing
Link: None. This part is Not Avilable.
[ Thanks for the tip Bryan! ]
*UPDATE * — DOH! Just received an email from Hotbodies. This link was a mistake and the windscreens will be released in 2-3 Months… ![]()

Those are awesome! I also like the smoke GP… is there a way to see what the different colors look like?
Also is that a 250 that they are on? the headlights don’t look like it…

No — Not a 250… It’s a ZX-6R

I was torn between ordering one of the GP screens from Hotbodies and the Puig screen but I decided to go with the Puig because they offered it in a Dark Smoke which I thought would look better on my black bike. I paid 87 dollars and some change from KneeDraggers which included shipping. I will take pictures of it mounted on the bike when I get it in where I will send them to 2Fiddy to post.

Cool, I tried to paint my stock one just to experiment with it but it did not turn out well. I knew I wanted an aftermarket windscreen anyways so I was not heart broken when it did not turn out. Can’t wait to get the Puig screen and see what it looks like. I still have not seen a good picture of a 250R with a Puig on it. I plan on taking some professional photos with studio lighting so there will be some to look at. I like to see things before I buy them.

I called Hotbodies today to order a windscreen and spoke with a very knowledgeable representative. He told me that they are waiting to get their hands on a 250 to make the molding for the windscreen … however, he was not able to give me a time table on when they will actually be ready to sell. I suggested to him that they should make a rear tire hugger and he said that making a hugger may also be in the near future(finally one available in the states!). I guess for now Puig will have to do for now…

I ORDERED THE SMOKE PUIG FROM KNEEDRAGGERS. I TOOK IT OUT OF THE PLASTIC BAG IT CAME IN AND WAITED FOR A WEEK UNTIL I HAD A MINUTE TO INSTALL IT. IT DID NOT FIT, AND THEY WILL NOT REFUND ME OR ACCEPT IT AS A RETURN. NOW I’M STUCK WITH A NON FITTING WINDSCREEN AND I CANT EVEN SELL IT CUZ IT DOESNT FIT ANY 250S!!!! BEWARE OF KNEEDRAGGER.COM. IF THERES A CHANCE THAT SOMETHING WONT FIT, THEN WHY THE HELL DO THEY ADVERTISE IT IS FOR THE 250?!? COMPLETE BULLSH***t.
