No Cut Fender Eliminator

No Cut fender eliminator | Ninja 250rMany of us have been waiting for an Integrated taillight kit, or a no cut fender eliminator for a while now. Bikelitez.com just releases a new kit that is a true no-cut kit (With license plate light) that gives the deep mount look that a lot of sport riders like, all while getting rid of the banana hammock rear fender in the process.

Overall, I didn’t think I’d like the tucked look on the 250R.. But It won me over. Just make sure you check your Local laws first. I know some have strict license plate visibility laws. Other wise, if I hadn’t already chopped my fender — I’d probably fork up the cash for this one…

Keep in mind, the nice part of no cut kits, is that if you ever sell the bike, or state/local laws change, you can go right back to stock without worrying about random holes cut in your bike. (No amount of super glue and bondo would ever fix some of these fender chops! ;) )

Price: ~150$

[Thanks for the tip Andrew]

UPDATE:Okay.. There is a little confusion about this kit. First, _this_ kit DOES include turn signals. They are “Stalk” turn signal, and are what looks like the tag bolt reflectors. (Which, I just assumed they were.. Sorry..)

However, they have a SECOND kit here that can be purchased WITHOUT turn signals. Sorry for the confusion — but there is no need for flaming.. (Comments removed)

Where do you hang your blinkers? 150 dollars is pretty expensive for this kit as I see it.

I would like to see a kit similar to this but offer a blinker mount as well.

I could make a kit like this for about thirty dollars and that is basically because I would lave to buy the license plate LED light. I would go with the mounting bolt that has the light in it as I think it is a way cool idea.

At least it is another option for the 250R as more companies notice the need to make after market add ons which is a good thing.

Looks WAY COOL! But there is no way i’m paying 150 bucks for this kit that doesn’t even have blinkers! For another $50 I could get the Rear Sets from W/C…which would be a much better buy. I agree with Bryan…for $30 bucks you could make something like this (prob. what it cost them).

150 is way to much and it doesn’t have the blinkers, that’s the first thing I noticed.

If they drop it 50 bucks and add in the blinkers then I might buy it.

I agree with all the above said comments… Common BikeLiteZ, for $150 give us some turn signals!

That’s just unsafe on the street, and likely to get you pulled over out here.

    Looks cool though!.

At first I was excited to see that something could replace my homemade aluminum one. Without rear blinkers plugged in, the front ones will just stay on. And with that price I’d rather buy the tail section from Airtech Streamlining. With the name BikeLiteZ, you would assume that blinkers would be included.

I saw a ninja today not a 250 here in VA with out any blinkers or mirrors. I am thinking that is illegal.

I’ll just wait until they come out with the exact kit I want.

Here is my new fender eliminator design that I’ve updated on my bike. You can see it here:

    http://www.freelanceshots.com/Kawasaki_250R.html

I am very happy with the turn out where I think it looks really clean. I can finally put my bike back together as I have been busy tackling the exhaust, jetkit, airbox, and fender thing all in my little apartment living room.

The question is stupid (I do not own the bike just yet) but if this is really a no-cut kit… where exactly did the undertail go ?? How can it disappear without being removed ??

    [Reply]

    Bthornhill Reply:

The undertail section comes off the bike after unbolting it. BikeLitez’s replacement parts, the black piece that fits around their brake light will fill in the void of the unit that you take out. To remove the stock undertail section you would need to remove both seats, plastic side panels, painted rear panels, unplug tail light, unplug license plate light, unplug blinkers, unbolt the four bolts and pull the section out. Tools that you will need: allen wrenches (different lengths and sizes), #2 philips head screw driver, socket wrench with extender and sockets. Once you have the bike you should be able to see it more clearly. The removal process is sort of a pain, but just take your time where a mechanically inclined person can do it.

    JP Reply:

So then tell me, if the undertail can be taken out in a clean, non-irreversible fashion, why do so many people choose the raw approach of just cutting it right off?

    [Reply]

    Mr. 2Fiddy Reply:

Because, until this product came out, there was no replacement piece for it after you took it off..

    Bryan Thornhill Reply:

BikeLitz provides you with a replacement part for this purpose. (black plastic tail portion that surrounds the red brake light) Without this part when doing this by yourself you have to cut the top portion of the tail section away from the bottom piece to seperate the two because you have to reinstall the top portion back onto the bike. Hopefully made some sense.

    Am I missing something?

I don’t see where the blinkers are?

    [Reply]

    Jasen Reply:

The little red circle things are the blinkers (from what I understand)…Look like the reflective tag bolts the dealers puts on to hold your plate to the bracket…(you know the thing by the stuff!?…next to the what-cha-ma-call it!?)

…either way the are cheap blinkers.

    [Reply]

    Terry Reply:

Yeah if those are the blinkers I really don’t like that and I’m sure it’s probably not legal in some states - :\

There was a huge mix up there, the original kit had no blinkers for the tucked away one. But they have newer model that has the blinkers and I belive on their website.

Yes the stock seat or cowl will fit with the bikelitez kit

i ordered and received this kit. Just want to reccomend no body order this kit. If you order the kit to put it under the fender you will not receive turn signals. And they told me that their kit doesnt include them. Also the fiberglass piece they give you doesnt fit my bike, the tail light won’t go in it all the way, and the holes didn’t even match up. Not to mention the instructions they give you are the worst directions i have ever seen.

I got this kit put on about 2 weeks ago. There are several questions about installation and appearance that I might help with. First, although I had a buddy do it for me, I did watch the entire process and he did not have to remove both seats and plastics. The reason you would need to is to route the wiring. Instead he bored a hole in the center of the tail just large enough to feed the wiring back into the tail section. The undertail part that bikelitez manufactures mathces very well with the stock upper half that encloses the brake light. Installation took about 45 minutes and cleaned up the bike really well (I will try and get some pics).
As far as the blinkers are concerned, the pictures provided don’t help. The blinkers are not the reflectors but are part of the bracket. The stock brackets come off and the LEDs replace them. The best picture I can find thus far is on the bikelitez website. they offer two different styles. The one that shows the plate hanging below the tail is what the kit is designed for, but that picture is of one without blinkers. The one that hugs the tail up underneath can be done, but I am pretty sure you have to drill, it doesn’t have blinkers (unless you retain the stock). This part is what I think best cleans up the bike.
Adding the bikelitez flush front signals completely streamlined the bikes profile. I agree that it is expensive, however, I am a fan of the fact that there I still have the possibility of re-stocking it for sale or whatever reason. Personally, I think this is definately worth the investment

Has anyone besides the few comments on here, installed the fender eliminator and ended up with a nice clean looking rear fender that is deep into the rear and has turn signals? I am debating between this one and the compt works. From the pictures this one looks way sportier and I like how its deep into the rear. What do you guyz think?

    Ronnie Reply:

I have, if you have any issues installing the kit or following the instructions in the box just call them. They will help walk you through it, if they can’t fix the problem they will give you a refund. They will work with you till the problem is fixed.
