Ninja 250R iPhone Wallpaper
2Fiddy’r Kate sent me an email:
Dr. Mister 2Fiddy,
My boyfriend just got us 2 brand new Ninja’s — so I got us 2 brand new iPhones. Do you have any iPhone wall papers that we could use?
Kate
Well, hells yeah! I too have a brand spanking new iPhone, and was just thinking the same gosh darn thing… So, I whipped one up.. But, if anyone wants to add more, I’ll post them here… Just send me any image that is 320×480 to the email address below, and I’ll add it. And if you need some tips on how to add it to you phone check out this link: Download and Install Wallpaper on your iPhone.

P.s. Kate… For future reference, it helps on this site if you don’t mention ‘Boyfriends’ or ‘Husbands’ when you’re asking a question.
But mad relationship props on the iPhones for the Ninjas…

Terry — I can do blackberry ones too… Just need to specify the models since their screens all differ…

Hey I’ve been an avid reader of 2fiddy, always interested in reading about and looking at the 250. And am waiting for my ‘09 250
I’ve been saving up all my money for one and will have to take out a loan to get one but it seems well worth it
… anywhoo I saw this post and decided to make a couple of 250 backgrounds for my cellphone (LG AX8600) they aren’t the best but I thought I would post them for others that had the same type of phone or similar screen size (176×220 pixels) so here they are:
This one is of a green 250 facing the screen with the word “Ninja” in the bottom left corner.

This one is of a green 250 again but of the side, also with the word “Ninja” in the bottom left corner.

And this one is of dnaLor’s bike (I’ve always thought his bike looked awesome and hope to do the same to my future bike :P) with the word “Ninja” on the bottom.

I was going to put “250R” instead of “Ninja” on them but couldn’t find the font. :/ if you know of it or where to find it please tell me!
Also i hope i didn’t break any rules by posting links in a comment, i couldn’t find any rules about that.

While we’re on the subject of iPhone and the Ninja 250R (well, at least I am.
I’m typing this on mine right now), is there anything that will add A2DP/AVRCP while still allowing me to charge? I need something like this to rig up a DC charger that will power this battery-hog while paired with an A2DP helmet headset. All the A2DP adapters I know of occupy the charge/dock port and do not allow any kind on “charge-through” functionality so I can’t even start figuring out how to rig it up to my bike with a DC charger.

Julian,
You’d be better off finding an external battery pack that you can easily route to the phone. Then, take off the bike and recharge after a trip.
Infact, You could find a External USB charger. Velcro it into the Storage, and run the cable up to the dash to your mount.. Then you could just unplug the battery when it needs a charge… Much better solution that tapping into the electrical system IMHO…

You’re right, and I would have already ordered one of those iPhone battery packs that can be charged with any USB power source (DC) *IF* I could charge while using A2DP. I mean, GPS + A2DP BT Adapter + internal Bluetooth* is a good way to constantly drain the internal battery and I fear that it’ll need replacement in no-time regardless of the power source used to charge it (total number of cycles will be higher than most users).
*internal BT does not do A2DP and it requires powering a SECOND BT transmitter
I think that I’ll still be juggling power vs. A2DP all the time if I can’t at least find a way to do that while simultaneously connecting an A2DP adapter.
Without charge-through, a battery pack built into an A2DP/AVRCP adapter sounds like the best way to go, though I doubt one will ever exist.

Ahhhhhhh… Gotcha on the A2DP… I thought that it was native in the 3G — but alas — looks like I was wrong…
Thats a shame.. Wonder if it’s road mapped for 2.1+ — It’s a feature that seems to make sense..

Apple gets a 10% royalty on all accessories that use the dock connector and enforce it with security chips, so they don’t want to see open-standard AVRCP remotes that circumvent the dock connector royalties just to allow A2DP (can be done via the headphone jack if you don’t care for AVRCP). AVRCP is a subset of A2DP, so it comes with the territory if they want to implement it natively. They set a precedent by charging for a driver that enabled wireless-N support on their PCs and, strangely, I kinda wish they’d end this stand-off the same way.

Found it! I emailed 8bananas and asked if they could make a product like that only to find that they updated the website the same day with just such a product!
“Extra features include independant volume control as well as USB pass through charging of your iPod / iPhone.”
It seems that they upgraded their BD905 to a BD906 and added these features. All pictures are still showing the BD905, which is a little bulky compared to the Sony TMR-BT8iP and blocks the mic (not centered), but it’s not like that matters when it’s on a bike mount. Now I gotta find what kinda RAM mounts will shield and protect an iPhone with this attached.
