Rear Tire Hugger in Yummy Carbon Fiber
As much as I hate ebay, It doesn’t hurt to head over there every once in a while to see if any new parts have managed to slip past me, and the forums, and my readers, etc. etc.
Today I ended up finding a neat piece. eBayer Scotts870 is making carbon fiber rear huggers for the 250R. It’s actually a pretty nice little piece for custom made.. (And I can speak from experience — working with raw carbon fiber sucks…) Currently, the auction is running at $70.. Might be worth a bid..
Since we’re on the topic: Other Parts I’d like to see made in Carbon Fiber:
1. Chain Guard
2. The plastic thigh covers
3. Front Fender
Can y’all think of any more?

Not bad…def looking for some “yummy” C/F parts. Got the Full Yoshi C/F System, C/F tank pad…levers would be nice, gas lid…everything you already listed…whatever isn’t already green on my bike!?Lol.
I’m gonna wait a little longer for a better looking tire hugger…but still a good find.

I changed my mind…the more i look at this tire hugger the more i kinda like it. I wish it was an all-in-one chain guard/tire hugger cuz that overlap onto the chain guard…looks a little iffy.

Man… carbon fiber is cool… for black bikes. Too bad there isn’t a straight black piece. Its kinda like trying to find non carbon fiber tank protector stick ons ;D

Well, I found a hugger/fender whatever you want to call it online recently and then forgot to save the link. It was a company who was making hugger/fender/spit guards whatever for the ‘ja 650r.
They had Blue and Black and Yellow(!?) listed for the 2008 250r as *new* product.
If anyone finds this, please post it? I am searching…….
Oh..the reason I mention this is that they were the FULL WRAP KINKED hugger/fender/stoneslappers ..whatever.
