2009 WERA 250 Ninja Class

Hairu over at Kawiforums started the ball rolling on contacting WERA about a possible 2009 class:

I contacted WERA about a 2009 Ninja cup. They said that they would do it if Kawasaki supported the contingency. I then contacted the contingency department at Kawasaki and they expressed interest in supporting a 2009 WERA 250 Ninja Class. If you are interested in racing your 250r in WERA next year, let Kawasaki know. You can reach their contingency department at teamgreen.contingency@kmc-usa.com

If you’re interested in racing, or atleast supporting the idea of a 250 class, make sure you show your support.

Mongo (head of WERA) told me that a lot of it depends on how many 250s we can get on the track this year. If y’all want it to happen, come on out and run some Regionals. It’s not all that far to Jennings.

    Here’s the North Florida schedule:
    3/22-23 Jennings GP, Jennings, FL-rs,S,
6/7-8 Roebling Road Raceway, Faulkville, GA-rs,S,Y,
    6/27-29 Road Atlanta, Braselton, GA-K,rs,S,
    7/12-13 Jennings GP, Jennings, FL-K,rs,
7/26-27 Roebling Road Raceway, Faulkville, GA-K,rs,
    8/9-10 Jennings GP, Jennings, FL-rs

We’re currently gridding with the V6LW and V5 classes. Ninja 500s are basically considered too slow to be competitive in those classes, but Mongo is letting us in because they’re about the only classes we won’t get flat run over in. Come on out and let’s see how y’all stack up when gridded with some modded Hawks and Duc 750s.
